There are many policies which determine how the Centre is run, these are written by the Head of Centre, Senior Staff and are monitored regularly by the Governing Body.

To comply with the Requirements of the Data Protection Act 1998, Canterbury Nursery School and Centre for Children and Families is registered as a data user with the Office of the Information Commissioner. The way in which the data we collect is used and the agencies to whom it is passed are detailed in our Privicy Notices below. Copies are also available from the main reception.
Lunch Menus
All food served to children will be:
- home made from high quality ingredients
- freshly prepared and served immediately (so maintaining nutritional content)
- low in salt and no salt added
- iron rich
- able to contribute to the 5 a day portions of fruit and vegetables recommended for a healthy diet
- a reflection of the community in terms of variety
- able to provide an emphasis on variety, colour and texture
- following halal guidelines on preparation and serving of food
- only milk or water will be offered to drink
