Core Provision
We have 2 nursery rooms, Nursery 3 and Nursery 4, for children aged 3 to 5 years, both of which are staffed by a team of Teachers and Early Years Practitioners. These rooms share an outdoor play area. This provision is funded by Central Government and is free. Every child is entitled to 5 part-time sessions each week from Monday to Friday free of charge during term time, beginning from the term after their third birthday. These sessions are either 9.00am – 11.30am or 12.30pm – 3.00pm.

As soon as your child is born you can place his or her name on the waiting list. We will inform you when a place is available, either by letter or telephone, to arrange a home visit. Children are admitted on a part time basis in age order. Where there is a need and or places are available children maybe admitted below the age of three.

Moving On
When the time comes for your child to move on, whether this is to another room in the Centre or to another Nursery or Primary School we will work with you and the other professionals involved to ensure a smooth transition to the next stage. We will also pass on the Record of Achievement or a summary of your child’s achievement. Remember to register your child at a Primary School and let us know your choice.
