Parents Forum

The Parents Forum provides a route for parents to have a voice in the governance arrangements in our integrated Centre. Some of the parents that attend the group are also active members of the Governing Body. Parents meet on a weekly basis, within that time representitives from other Centre's often come to visit to consult on issues which affect the community. The Group work with organisations such as Streets Ahead and other local Schools.

Every 6 weeks a Business Meeting takes place whereby parents read the Governing Body Minutes and Parent Governors take the issues raised to the meeting for discussion.

Additionally, every 6 weeks a joint Parents Forum takes place where parents from 7 different schools in the area can come together and share issues which are affecting them in the community. Joint funding is also sourced through these meetings to fund small projects such as activities at the Haycliffe Hill Allotment Site and Educational Trips.
